Technology

I had bought a photo editing program awhile back and today I finally got around to doing something with it. It allows you to take a photo and turn it into a pencil drawing and various other things. Here is my first model. Baby Maddie. Katy has taken some really nice pictures of her this past year, and I may be trying some of these techniques out on some of her photos or mine, with my new camera.

She is absolutely gorgeous. Like the line drawing too.

I tried changing some of mine to sepia and they were very nice.

That is absolutely awesome! How creatively presented! What a little cutie too! 8-)
I have 25 years of our family photos to sort at some point too. Don't know how I shall store them... 8-)
Have a good weekend!

The model is adorable and I like what the photo program did with it. Thanks for stopping by my quilt blog...come any time!

Maddie is so cute! And as far as storing the old pictures, I have some in albums, tins, and an antique coffee can with a lid. I started to put them in it, because, the grandchildren liked to look at pictures and it was the easiest way to just hand them the coffee can and they would entertain themselves for an hour or two. Now they are all grown up but the coffee can remains with the photos.

I love this. What photo program did you get? I'm thinking of photo shop for mac. I'm not sold yet. Anyways, this is perfect. How could it not be with such a perfect model?

It sure turned out nice. Soon we won't need 'human' artists. Well, except for those real crazy conceptual works of art.

Thanks ladies! This may be the only kind of "Art" work I do. The cheater kind. I was at the library today looking at "how to draw books" (even though I have some at the house!?) and didn't get any because I don't feel very confident that I could draw anything to show off. But...never say never. Maybe I will try one day.

I forgot to say that the photo editing program is called Photo Explosion.

I must be losing it! I could have sworn I posted on this yesterday. What a little doll. I love the pencil-illustration. Don't you love manipulating stuff? It makes one feel like a great architect or something.
