Priceless Little Book

Today we went to the Book Fair and I found this book as we were leaving. My daughter and I were laughing so hard we were crying at some of these sayings. So I thought I would try and share some of them on the blog. I am not sure if the scanned in pages will show up well enough to read. If not I can type them in another time.

This book was published in 1975, so many of these quotes are from children that are now Grand parents. That makes it even funnier!

If you click to enlarge them, they can be read. I was lazy about typing them out.

Funny and cute sayings. I like the one about a grandmother telling things that the parents would rather she not told about them. Well, I'm paraphrasing, but you know which one I mean. LOL.

Perfect day today to be on the river, and I enjoyed it.

I read your comment just now, over at Reader Wil's, and just want to say, Pentecost is the perfect day to be confirmed. Blessings on you and your husbands special day, Brenda!

And Hugs, too,

I was able to read them by clicking and making them larger. They are precious. Like they say out of the mouth of babes. Thanks for sharing.

I loved reading the book. I think the one that applies to me is the cuddly, fat grandma jokes. I am always making them about myself. I always say, "Why lose weight? Aren't gramma's suppose to be fat and cuddly?" ;)

We should start remembering some things our own grand kids say and write them down.

I liked that one also. Although, it will most likely be them telling my grand children things about me. Ha

You are going to love being a Grandma someday!

I bet you have lots of sayings from your own grand children to remember.

I liked that one also. I wish that is what I did...ha..sleep and knit.

Thanks for visiting!

Your day will come in the grandma department. I think you are a decade behind me.

Crumpled was cute wasn't it.

That was the funniest part. These kids would be grandparents now. Thanks for your visit.

That was the one I laughed at the most. Because I am overweight, I thought the same thing. Maybe I am suppose to be comfy and fat.
