Lantern Festival

Yesterday Katy treated me to a day at The Lantern Festival at Shaw's Garden.  It was so nice to see real blooming flowers!  Ours are all pretty much dead.  The Lantern art work was amazing.  Super colorful...and I can only imagine what it would look like at night.  They charge about $22 to see this at night...but it would be pretty cool for a date night.  Hint...hint..

Back at home the girls enjoyed a swim with Uncle Bobby.

Last week I tried to recover from our week of vacation.  If you are interested in seeing and hearing about it go to My Faith blog.  It took me 2 days to load all of those photos.

Thanks for visiting!

Oh....and one more thing.  I won this beautiful shawl a couple years ago over at Rudee's place and it helped me snuggle up and sleep like a baby on the bus.  I love this shawl!

Thanks Rudee!

What a gorgeous day - love the flowers & all the color, but I especially love all those little pandas. Too cute!

Love the shawl too - I'm glad you were able to use it :)

Where do I even begin? First, you are welcome for the shawl. I'm glad it went on an adventure and kept you comfortable. Even more, it makes me so happy to know you treasure this.

The lantern festival looks spectacular. Go see it at night. I bet it's even more fabulous.

Of all the photographs, I think I like the one of you, your daughter and your beautiful granddaughters. It's just so beautiful!
