This morning I was reading from book called "Give Us This Day", and part of it was about Father Mychal Judge. I had not heard anything about him until today. There is so much I don't know about what happened on that awful day, 11 years ago. This story is my reminder. After reading the story in my book, I went on line and saw that someone has a blog about him. I put a link to it underneath the photo I borrowed from the blog.
He sounds like someone I would have loved to have met and talked to. He reached out to people that most of us want to avoid. That is a very faith filled person. To not be afraid to approach the homeless, the alcoholics, victims of AIDS, and others that many of us would not minister to. I read that he was the first certified casualty of that day. Sometimes I wonder if all 3000 plus people who died.. too soon, are with him in heaven. The ones responsible for their deaths...I am thinking they aren't there. But I am not God..so I really don't know what happened to their souls. God Bless those who help others.
